Tactile acquires ParaCom – expanding capabilities and strengthening its position in the defense sector

Tactile Rugged Computers has reached an agreement with the owners of ParaCom for Tactile to acquire the company. With complementary product lines focused on critical systems and a shared customer base, the combined operations will offer a broader and more integrated range of products. This will provide enhanced opportunities for our customers, as well as greater stability and scalability in operations and support.

Tactile has traditionally focused on rugged computers for industrial use but has, in recent years, expanded its presence in the defense sector. The acquisition of ParaCom marks an important step in this development and strengthens Tactile’s offering to defense customers.

At the same time, the acquisition signals to our current and future industrial customers that Tactile continues to grow, making us an even more capable and attractive partner.

For ParaCom customers – especially within the defense sector – this change brings continuity and stability. ParaCom will retain its name and identity, and customers can continue to rely on the same high level of expertise and service, now further backed by Tactiles resources and long-term commitment.
