With the Tactile UPS Smart you get a reliable power source for your panel pc. The USB connects to the computer which reads the status of the power source. This can be programmed in different ways and the UPS works similar to a laptop battery where the computer can communicate and know the status of the power source.
In some environments where the vehicle is shut down for a short while or where you have to be able to run the computer even after the main power source have been disconnected the UPS will provide the computer with power for a limited time.
Simple installation with the UPS Holder
The UPS Holder is a accessory for the Tactile UPS units and makes it easy to install the UPS. There are three different holders to mount the UPS depending on your needs. The holder is installed where the UPS should be mounted and then the UPS is inserted into the clamp in order to firmly attach the UPS.
